Overview
Just arrived in Puerto Vallarta? This walking tour is the perfect way to get oriented and explore the city with ease. Over approximately 4 hours and 3 km, you’ll stroll through lively streets while discovering local flavors, iconic landmarks, and hidden gems—so you’ll feel confident navigating the city on your own afterward.
Please note: This experience involves walking and is not ideal for guests with limited mobility. A short portion of the tour includes transportation by bus or Uber to reach downtown. Additionally, since the tastings focus mainly on local specialties, vegetarian options are limited.
Come hungry! Along the way, you’ll enjoy sizzling tacos, cheesy empanadas, shrimp tostadas, artisanal tequila, and sweet local candies, while exploring highlights such as Zona Romántica, the MalecĂłn (Boardwalk), the Church of Our Lady of Guadalupe, and the charming Isla del RĂo Cuale. The tour ends at the city’s largest artisan craft market, perfect for finding unique souvenirs.
Until April, you’ll also visit two different farmers’ markets—one focused on locals and another geared toward visitors. The local market often feels like stepping back into pre-Hispanic times, with many products displayed directly on the ground.
A fun, cultural, and flavorful introduction to Puerto Vallarta—ideal for first-time visitors who want to experience the city’s contrasts!
