Overview

Step into the vibrant heart of Puerto Vallarta and discover flavors, colors, and culture beyond the beach. This gay-friendly guided tour begins in the afternoon, when the city comes alive—perfectly timed to enjoy the stunning sunset. Over the course of an easy 2 km walk, you’ll explore downtown’s lively streets, savoring sizzling tacos, shrimp or fish skewers, fresh churros, smooth artisanal tequila, and creamy, spicy traditional candies.

As we stroll along the famous Boardwalk, you’ll admire striking sculptures and feel Puerto Vallarta’s spirit through its landmarks and traditions. Marvel at the daring Voladores de Papantla, pass the vibrant club district, snap a photo at the Vallarta Letters, and visit the Main Square and the iconic Church of Our Lady of Guadalupe. We’ll also cross the charming Río Cuale bridge, where you’ll learn how to reach Elizabeth Taylor’s former house and enjoy views of the famous Los Muertos Pier.

The tour ends at the south section of the Boardwalk—an area filled with art, souvenirs, Mexican candies, and artisanal tequilas. It’s the perfect place to shop, relax, or simply wander with friends and family.

Ideal for first-time visitors, this experience blends food, culture, and shopping while helping you get oriented so you can explore downtown with ease. Come hungry, curious, and ready to fall in love with Puerto Vallarta’s charm!
